Quartz crucible is a product with good performance, and after long-term use, we need to clean it. The general cleaning steps for quartz crucibles are rinsing with tap water, acid treatment, rinsing with tap water, secondary acid treatment, rinsing with high-purity water, drying, blowing with high-purity nitrogen gas, and vacuum sealing with a small amount of high-purity nitrogen gas. So, what are the precautions to take when cleaning? Let's take a look together.
1. The purity of high-purity water must be greater than 15M Ω and rinsed repeatedly.
2. The packaging blowing room should be completed in a clean room, and the packaging plastic should be anti-static.

3. The purity of nitrogen is greater than -70 ℃.
4. Put the product into deionized water or distilled water with added "fat solubilizer", and then immerse it in hydrogen fluoride ammonia with a concentration of 7% for no more than 10 minutes; Or immerse it in a 10% concentration hydrofluoric acid solution for no more than 5 minutes. Surface erosion not only removes pollutants on the surface, but also removes a small amount of fused quartz components. To avoid water stains, ash absorption, and subsequent crystallization caused by heating, fused quartz should be rinsed multiple times in deionized water and quickly dried.
The above is an introduction to the cleaning precautions for quartz crucibles. We still need to pay more attention in the actual cleaning process of quartz crucibles.
